オペレーション＆生産アシスタント

Battenwear（バテンウェア）は、2011年にニューヨークでスタートし、現在は東京を拠点とするアウトドア＆ライフスタイルブランドです。
アウトドア、サーフィン、旅、そして日常の小さな冒険からインスピレーションを受けたウェアやアクセサリーを企画・生産し、日本をはじめ世界各国のショップ、工場、パートナーと仕事をしています。
今回、東京のチームの一員として、オペレーション業務と生産業務をサポートしていただける方を募集します。
少人数の会社のため、仕事内容は一つの分野だけに限られません。さまざまな業務に柔軟に対応し、社内外の方々とコミュニケーションを取りながら、チームの一員として一緒に仕事を進めていただける方を探しています。
主な仕事内容
受注・出荷・在庫管理
- 受注、出荷、在庫に関するデータや書類の管理
- 卸売およびECの出荷業務、倉庫との在庫管理・調整
- 在庫数の差異、不足、過剰などの確認および対応
- 出荷や納期に関するお客様とのコミュニケーション
- パッキングリスト、コマーシャルインボイス、出荷指示書などの作成
- 生産・サンプル業務のサポート
- 工場、生地メーカー、その他生産パートナーとの連絡・やり取り
- サンプル・生産に必要な生地、付属、参考商品などの準備および発送
- サンプルの確認、修正内容やコメントの整理
- サンプル・生産スケジュールや関連資料の管理サポート
その他の業務
少人数のチームのため、必要に応じて以下のような業務もお願いします。
- 展示会やバイヤーとの商談の準備
- サンプルやコレクションの整理
- 在庫カウントのサポート
- サンプルや商品の受け取り、整理、梱包、移動などの作業
- オフィス内の整理や一般的な事務サポート

- 整理整頓や細かい確認が得意な方
- 周囲ときちんとコミュニケーションを取りながら仕事を進められる方
- 一度説明を受けた仕事について、自分で考えながら進め、必要な時には質問や確認ができる方
- 指示を待つだけではなく、必要なことに気づき、自ら行動できる方
- 問題が起きた時に、解決方法を考えることが苦にならない方
- 少人数の会社で、仕事内容の枠にとらわれず柔軟に働くことができる方
- Excelなど、基本的なPC・スプレッドシート操作ができる方
- Shopifyなどのオンライン在庫・受注管理システムの使用経験がある方、または新しいシステムを学ぶことに抵抗がない方
- 洋服、ファッション、インディペンデントブランドに興味がある方
アパレル、生産、物流、卸売、ECなどの経験がある方は歓迎しますが、必須ではありません。
経験年数よりも、責任感があり、整理が得意で、新しいことを学びながら仕事を進めていける方を重視しています。
語学
日本語： ネイティブレベル必須
英語： 日常会話程度の英語力があれば歓迎しますが、必須ではありません
Operations & Production Coordinator
Battenwear — Tokyo, Japan
Battenwear is an independent outdoor and lifestyle clothing brand founded in New York in 2011 and now headquartered in Tokyo. We design and produce clothing and accessories inspired by the outdoors, surfing, travel, and everyday adventure, working with stores, factories, and partners in Japan and around the world.
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on person to join our small team in Tokyo. Because we are a small company, we are looking for someone who is comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities, communicating with different partners, and helping wherever needed.
Main Responsibilities
Logistics & Order Management
- Maintaining organized order, shipping, and inventory records
- Supporting warehouse fulfillment and inventory coordination for Battenwear's wholesale and e-commerce businesses
- Helping identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages
- Communicating with customers regarding shipping and delivery
- Preparing packing lists, commercial invoices, shipping instructions, and other necessary documents
- Production & Sample Support
- Communicating with factories, fabric suppliers, and other production partners
- Preparing and sending fabrics, trims, reference garments, and other materials needed for sampling and production
- Checking incoming samples and organizing comments and revisions
- Helping maintain production schedules and records
Additional General Support
As part of a small team, additional responsibilities may include:
- Preparing for showrooms and buyer appointments
- Organizing samples and collections
- Helping with inventory counts
- Helping receive, organize, pack, and move samples and merchandise when needed
- General office organization and administrative support
We're Looking for Someone Who
- Is highly organized and good at keeping track of details
- Communicates clearly and reliably
- Is comfortable working independently once a task has been explained, takes initiative, and asks questions when additional direction is needed
- Enjoys solving problems and figuring out how to get things done
- Is comfortable working in a small company where responsibilities sometimes overlap
- Has good basic computer skills, including Excel or other spreadsheet software
- Has experience with online inventory and order management systems, including Shopify, or is willing and able to learn
- Has an interest in clothing, fashion, and independent brands
Previous experience in apparel, production, logistics, wholesale, or e-commerce is helpful, but we are also open to someone with less experience who is organized, capable, and eager to learn.
Language
Japanese: Native-level fluency required
English: Basic conversational ability is helpful but not required
