The Northfield Parka was originally designed for a Los Angeles native who moved to Northfield, Minnesota and needed something serious to help survive the subzero winters. This isn’t your average coat. Beyond just being toasty warm, the Northfield Parka is packed with thoughtful details: fleeced lined hand-warming pockets, a brimmed hood with adjustable drawstring, and a mix of snap and Velcro closures to minimize glove-handed fumbling.
Inside at waist, an adjustable drawstring allows for a custom fit, while a foam-reinforced hood brim offers structure and protection against snow or rain. Simply put, this is our “you’re-not-in-California-anymore” parka—made for real cold-weather living.
Fabric Note
60/40 (60% Cotton / 40% Nylon) is substantial yet lightweight for its warmth. The material’s wind- and water-resistance come from its thread composition—not chemical coatings—resulting in durability, breathability, and comfort season after season.
